It looked pretty good.

    Nunito Sans is my kind of font and I find it pretty neat these days. It may not be a perfect alternative to Proxima Nova if observed closely, but it gives and impression like it is. Jacques Le Bailly extended Vernon Adams‘s Nunito and came up with 7-weight sans version of it.

  4. Raleway

    As a bonus, Raleway looks more like a display font and is created by different font designers. Matt McInerney created it as a single-weight thin font. Later on it is extended by Pablo, Rodrigo, and Igino for a 9-weight typeface.

Other lookalikes

Another typeface that looks quite similar to Proxima Nova is Gotham, which is a premium font as well. Both of them appear almost the same, however, people on web use the former the most.

About Proxima Nova Font

Mark Simonson is the creator of Proxima Nova Font. He was a graphic designer in his early career. He wanted to create letters and drawing letters with his creativity and designing. Proxima Nova is one of his greatest creations from over 100 font’s collection. The complete font family contains 48 full-featured Open Type Fonts. They are the rework of Proxima Sans created in 1994. The font is of three original widths. They are Proxima Nova, Proxima Nova Condensed and Proxima Nova Extra Condensed. Seven wights are with matching italics along with nine widths. Mark Simonson founded his studio called the ‘Mark Simonson Studio’ in the year 2000. Though he has a beautiful studio, he loves to work in a bungalow. It is situated beside Saint Anthony Park, USA and is a modest 1920s house. Proxima Nova font is created with the combination of Futura and classic sans faces. As a result, the font is an abomination of geometric overall look and humanistic proportions.
