PCB Layout CAD:Move/Rotate/Mirror
A mirror of the KiCad development branch, which is hosted at GitLab (updated every time something is pushed). Pull requests on GitHub are not accepted or watched. KiCad/kicad-source-mirror. Users who wish to keep up to date with the latest libraries should clone the KiCad libraries using Git or SVN. Cloning the library repositories means that users only need to download updates to the libraries, rather than re-downloading library files multiple times. This can significantly save on bandwith usage and allows users to control which. KiCad is known to work on Mac OS X 10.11 through macOS 10.13. It may work on newer versions. If it does not, it is a bug and will be fixed. Kicad-unified is the default package that most people should install. Kicad-unified contains everything: the KiCad suite, documentation, schematic symbols, footprints, translations, templates. The KiCad development team does not maintain or control these mirrors. However, they may be useful for users in regions with poor connectivity to the official mirrors. The kicad-nightly version can be faster to download, and kicad-extras can be used to turn a kicad-nightly install into a full install. Kicad-nightly does not contain the 3D.
There are the following methods for Rotate/Mirror when moving or placing an object.
When a component or pad is mirrored, the placement surface will be changed (Top surface => Bottom surface, Bottom surface => Top surface)

Download Kicad For Windows

The whole object is mirrored left-right.
The whole object is flipped vertically.
While maintaining individual coordinates for footprints and pads, etc., components on the Top surface move to the Bottom surface, and components on the Bottom surface move to the Top surface.
Vertical Flip Individually
While maintaining individual coordinates for footprints and pads, etc., the Top/Bottom changes, and components on the Top surface move to the Bottom surface, and components on the Bottom surface move to the Top surface.
It rotates 90 degrees counter clockwise.
It rotates 90 degrees clockwise.
Rotate 45 degrees
It rotates 45 degrees counter clockwise.
Rotate 1 degrees
It rotates 1 degrees counter clockwise.
Rotate Arbitrary Angle
Specifies an arbitrary angle for rotation. When it is a positive number, it rotates counterclockwise, and when it is a negative number, it rotates clockwise.
Rotate 90 Degrees Individually
It rotates while maintaining individual coordinates for footprints and pads, etc.
Individually Rotate Arbitrary Angle
It rotates while maintaining individual coordinates for footprints and pads, etc., by inputting an arbitrary angle.
